There is an app for Linux, Windows and MacOS to connect your wavelog instance to your local computer.

I finally made the hop from Cloudlog to Wavelog and I don’t regret it so far.

Another big move for the weatherstation. The station also moved off the Raspberry Pi 4 and I’m using the SQLite database again (instead of a local or remote MySQL server). The new environment is a virtual machine running on my homeserver.

For anyone interested and mainly for my notes archive, this is the setup that I currently have set up on my Windows equipment for Winlink. I started taking notes on the Microsoft Surface 2 Go and ended up installing all this on the HP Elitebook 830 G6 (which has an integrated GPS sensor).

I wrote down the installation of a forked DStarGateway with a slim dashboard based on Javascript on a Raspberry Pi 2 – using Archlinux.

I’m totally done with Netatmo at this point and I am more than happy to show you my new setup at my home. I’ll start with a WS69 (all-in-one) sensor and the Gateway GW1100. Combined with WeeWX we will publish our data to some online weather networks/services.

Finally there is an absolutely portable way to operate Winlink.

Quickly create ADIF or CSV files to import into any logging program later. Also creates logfiles for the SOTA program.

I built two ferrite chokes and measured them already, but I never presented the results to the internet audience 😉
