This was my photography laptop running Lightroom and Photoshop back then. It is still a good choice: that’s why I replaced the battery in 2024.
It was my second choice of laptop for a long time (a bit chunky, slow and proprietary WiFi adapter) but its still powerful enough to go through the tasks if needed.
To get the WiFi working (with Bluetooth aswell) we need to modifiy the
kernel parameters in our bootloader – append brcmfmac.feature_disable=0x82000
to the already existing parameters and reboot (Archlinux wiki).
Also the screen is big enough to view some movies on it.
